We deserve a more perfect world, let's free our imagination
As the title of the article suggests, this is an imaginary account of how an ideal world situation should be like, where life is ultimately not just about competition and rushing about but also about taking out time and space for oneself, wherein one can discover one's own inner calling. It can begin by mere imagination but it has to transcend just that and become reality for the world to become a much more beautiful place to live in.

Basic guidelines for conceptual photography
Attempting conceptual photography takes the work of a photographer to a new level to convey a message to the viewers. According to a noted photographer, Christina N Dickson, concept shooting is similar to advertising, stock, and photojournalism for several reasons. The inset image conveys the concept of 'belongingness to a religion' by creating the emblem of the religion by its followers, which was posted by a Facebook friend.

For Not Losing Our Listening
Do you feel relaxed and reassuring when you hear the song of a bird? Do you really worry when birds stop singing? There is a generalization that it's hard to concentrate on something when you have a louder surrounding.

My views on Pornography
The story of Adam and Eve tells us that whatever is forbidden is eaten. This is not only true about the hunger for food but also the hunger for sex, praise, etc. I have also seen it during my visit to states, which had gone dry but liquor was available in plenty in those states but at a premium.

Master exposure technique for better photography
Exposure is the most basic element of photography, which can be mastered with practice by paying attention to camera adjustments of shutter speed, aperture, and ISO modes. If one wants to take good photographs, he or she must learn how to control the exposure of a picture. Before clicking the camera, take a minute or so adjust your exposure setting to make it your habit.

Such is the pollution that even walking has become a hazard
When I was a young boy living in a small town of Punjab, we used to travel on foot for about five kilometers to go to our school and college. There was no pollution in the air and our lungs were filled with fresh air every time we went to our school and college or came back from it. Women folk also had to walk many kilometers on foot to go to bazaar and come back from it.

Modern malaise: The Mad Men of the past and the Mad Men of today
I lived in the town of Banga in Punjab. There was a mad man who lived in our village and my mother told me never to go near him as he may kill me in his madness. Then my own paternal grandfather became mad but he had such a good reputation that he was not removed from the membership of the Municipal Committee.

When the rat race stops mattering
Each day here, I realize how fast a life we in the metropolitan cities lead, and how we are always running it seems behind our careers, behind the promotion announced in the office, behind a chance, that our children could get to reality participate in the latest talent hunt program, behind the home loan that our colleague could manage to get before us and finally and most significantly running behind the entire idea of coming first in every race possible and by no means being left behind.

Knowing an aastik or a believer in the Almighty
Spiritualism is important in providing inner strength to human beings. If individuals are strong, the society and the nation would be strong. It is seen that theistic way of life gives self-confidence to men and women and they remain prepared to face any eventuality. Their lives go on, come rain come shine.

Maulana Hasrat Mohani: Great freedom fighter and Urdu-Hindi poet
Do you remember the beautiful lyrics of the Ghazal from the film Niqah sung by Ghulam Ali - 'Chupke chupke raat din aansuu bahanaa yaad hai...'? And the ghazal sung by Mehdi Hassan - 'Dekhanaa bhii to u.nhe.n duur se dekhaa karanaa...'? The author is none other than Maulana Hasrat Mohani, the great freedom fighter and a great Urdu as well as Hindi poet.
